FUTBIN is a third-party EA SPORTS FC database, market-tracking and squad-planning platform. It is not the EA Companion App and it does not operate the Ultimate Team transfer market. Its value is in the layer it adds around the game: live player prices, card databases, squad and tactics builders, SBC information, Evolutions tools, notifications, player comparisons and an AI-powered Pack Scanner.

FUTBIN’s current Terms of Service identify the owner and operator as Better Collective A/S, a Danish company with CVR number 27652913. The terms were last updated on 24 February 2026. FUTBIN’s privacy policy was reviewed again in June 2026.

What FUTBIN actually does

The official FUTBIN app page groups its main tools into several practical categories:

  • Live Prices — current market information for Ultimate Team Player Items.
  • Combined Squad & Tactic Builder — plan lineups, player combinations and tactical setups.
  • Objectives & SBCs — follow current content and solution/cost information.
  • Evolutions — find, build and track Evolution paths.
  • Notifications — alerts for prices, players, SBCs and Evolutions.
  • AI-Powered Pack Scanner — photograph a pack and identify its players so their market information can be viewed quickly.

Those tools are why FUTBIN is often open on a phone or second screen while a player is using EA SPORTS FC.

FUTBIN is not the official EA Companion App

FUTBIN says this explicitly in its own FAQ. EA’s Companion App is an EA product for managing a player’s actual Ultimate Team club. FUTBIN is a separate analysis and planning service.

The difference is practical. FUTBIN can help answer “what does this card cost?”, “which version is better?”, “how expensive is this SBC?” or “what squad can I build for this budget?” The EA Companion App is where direct club actions such as opening packs, listing items, completing official club operations and managing account-linked content take place.

EA now officially approves FUTBIN for account connections

A major 2026 change is EA’s FC Community API. EA Help currently lists only three approved community partners for EA Account connections: FUTBIN, FUT.GG and FUTWIZ.

EA says the connection is permission-based: the user signs in through EA, the EA password is not shared with the community site, credentials remain with EA, and only approved partners can use the official connection system.

This is an important distinction. FUTBIN remains a third-party service, but its approved Community API connection is an EA-supported integration. See the account-connection guide for what the approval does and does not mean.

Who owns FUTBIN?

FUTBIN’s Terms of Service name Better Collective A/S, CVR 27652913, as the owner/operator of Futbin.com, the iOS app, Android app and FUTBIN Premium. The terms also state that users must be at least 13 to access and use the service, with parental/guardian permission required for younger users where applicable under the terms.

That ownership information matters because FUTBIN is frequently treated as if it were part of EA. It is not. Better Collective operates the service; EA owns and operates EA SPORTS FC.

FUTBIN accounts and Premium

Basic app features can be used without an account, according to FUTBIN’s app FAQ. An account may be required for personalised functions such as Pack Scanner, Evolutions management, saving squads and notifications.

FUTBIN also offers optional paid services such as ad removal through FUTBIN Premium. Its terms say subscription fees are charged through the relevant app-store account on a monthly or annual basis and describe Premium subscriptions as optional upgrades.

How FUTBIN live prices should be read

A FUTBIN price is market information, not a guaranteed transaction price. Ultimate Team values can change quickly because of:

  • new packs and supply;
  • promo and Campaign releases;
  • SBC requirements;
  • Evolutions eligibility;
  • weekend/competitive demand;
  • platform or market differences;
  • the time since a price observation was made.

FUTBIN’s own terms warn users not to rely on its information as guaranteed advice and say the service does not guarantee that all information is accurate, complete or up to date.

See the live-price and player-database guide for how to use price data without treating it as a fixed quote.

Squad Builder and Tactics Builder

FUTBIN combines card data with lineup planning. A player can set a budget, compare different card versions, test league/nation/club links and then use tactics tools to think about shape and roles before spending coins.

That matters more in FC 27 because EA has adjusted Chemistry for ICONs and Heroes and changed how squad progression works across Ultimate Team. A builder is useful only when it reflects the rules of the current game cycle.

Read the squad and tactics guide for a practical planning workflow.

SBC tools

FUTBIN is widely used to estimate SBC costs and compare solution ideas. The important limitation is that a popular solution can itself move the market: when many players buy the same fodder cards, those cards can rise in price and make the displayed “solution cost” stale.

FC 27 also introduces streamlined SBCs for some content types, so the way third-party SBC tools present requirements can change. See the SBC guide.

Evolutions tools

FUTBIN lets users browse eligible players and projected upgrade paths. That is especially useful for comparing a cheap base item with its possible final Evolution version rather than judging only the starting card.

EA has said FC 27 Evolutions will arrive at a more deliberate pace with tailored attribute and position requirements. That makes up-to-date eligibility data important. See the Evolutions guide.

Pack Scanner

FUTBIN’s app page describes Pack Scanner as AI-powered. The simple idea is to photograph a pack result and have the app identify the players so their price data can be shown without manually searching every card.

Because Pack Scanner is a FUTBIN feature rather than an EA pack-opening system, the actual pack, entitlement and club inventory still belong to EA’s game services.

FC 27 changes the market context

EA SPORTS FC 27 Early Access begins on 18 September 2026, with worldwide release on 25 September. During the first days of a new Ultimate Team cycle, market prices are unusually unstable because coin supply is low, pack supply grows rapidly, and early SBC/Evolution demand can move specific items.

FUTBIN’s indexed app page may still reference the FC 26 cycle while the live service transitions. Always confirm that the player database or price page you are viewing is explicitly for FC 27 before using it for a current buying/selling decision.

See FUTBIN and FC 27 for how to interpret the first-week database and price transition.

FUTBIN’s own terms include a no-scraping rule

The 2026 Terms of Service prohibit unauthorised data mining and scraping. They include a limited exception allowing students and content creators to use pricing data when FUTBIN is credited as the source. That is relevant for anyone building spreadsheets, bots, price trackers or public content from FUTBIN data.

FUTBIN privacy and account data in 2026

FUTBIN’s June 2026 Privacy Policy provides more detail than a typical app-store description. Better Collective says it can process account/contact data, device and browser information, approximate location, authentication events, feature usage, notification preferences, analytics events and advertising interactions depending on how a user uses the service.

The policy also explains personalised advertising and audience profiling. FUTBIN says users can manage certain advertising and communication choices through Account Settings, unsubscribe controls and its cookie/privacy preference tools. The policy names advertising and technology partners used for measurement, monetisation and identity matching, while describing hashed identifiers rather than plain-text email for some matching workflows.

FUTBIN account terms that matter to regular users

The Terms of Service say FUTBIN accounts are used under licence and can be deactivated or terminated for inactivity or rule violations. Users are responsible for account security and for content they publish. The terms also make clear that FUTBIN may stop offering parts of the service and that availability is not guaranteed.

What FUTBIN does not promise about its data

FUTBIN explicitly says its information is for general information and it does not warrant that content is always accurate, reliable, complete or current. That is important for market use: a player-price page is a research input, not a guaranteed execution price inside EA’s Transfer Market.

Why the Community API changes the service

Before EA’s 2026 Community API, third-party FC tools had to rely much more heavily on public data and manual user input. EA’s approved connection system gives FUTBIN a supported, permission-based path to certain account data. That can improve personalised tools without turning FUTBIN into an EA-owned service or giving it control over the user’s EA credentials.

FUTBIN as a broader FC platform

FUTBIN is also moving beyond static database pages. In 2026 it announced its first esports team and said competitive player Tom Stokes would work with the development team on advanced site features including its Meta Rating system. That shows the product is positioning itself as both a data platform and an FC community/competitive brand.

For individual tool workflows, use the price/database, squad builder, Evolutions and Pack Scanner / EA connection guides.
